Let her eat cake

One of my coworkers brought these cake mixes to work. So I cooked up a few muffins for Lexie. They include frosting for the cake/cupcakes and it is all dog-friendly. She gets her first cake tomorrow for breakfast.

Bathroom decor

I have been slowly redecorating my bathroom from a cat lovers (I still love our cats, just not in the bathroom) to a nautical theme. I have a nice shower curtain with lighthouse curtain rings and a lighthouse rug. i saw these two at Hobby Lobby and couldn't resist.

Harvey, updated

We love our RV, "Harvey the RV." But we also enjoy looking. So far, our favorite dream RV is the Bounder, which has plenty of room inside, two bathrooms, and a washer dryer. It also features a U-shaped dinette and more counter space ion the kitchen. At the RV show last weekend, they had Bounders but not the particular model we were looking for. But we did see the 2012 version of the Greyhawk, our brand. Here's a few pics showing the differences. It certainly has a much richer look to it.

Playing Hookey

Last week we played hookey from work and took a very nice drive up through the mountains (with a quick stop to Dairy Keen in Heber). We both needed a little forest therapy plus we wanted to see a few camping spots that we would like to try out this year.

This was the campsite at Starvation State Park that we liked. Accessible, had basic hookups, a covered picnic area, a nice fire ring and best yet, nearby fishing opportunities.

We were not disappointed in the beautiful scenery along the way!
