Review - Prison Diaries, Volume 1

Prison Diaries by Jeffrey Archer

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A very interesting take on Archer's time in prison.  While he exhibits many of the traits common to convicted felons (poor me, I'm being made an example of; or, I only care about prison conditions when I am an inmate), it's still interesting to hear his story.

The most disappointing thing about the book as that it did not include his whole prison story, just the first part of his stay.  The story picks up after his transfer to the next prison and that is followed up by a third volume in the series.  That's nice but I doubt there will be anything new or revealing in the second or third volumes.

So now I am listening to Marine One by James Huston.
