Camping at Montpelier, Idaho

We took a fun weekend Harvey trip up to Montpelier, Idaho.  The weather was perfect and we had a nice, relaxing time....

View of Bear Lake as we passed by...
Before heading to the campground, we stopped in Montpelier for gas, Artic Circle (so original), and a visit to their Oregon Trail Museum.

This is who greeted us on the way to the bathroom.

A wonderful quilt exhibit.

View of Museum from gas station.
Next it was 3 miles down the road to our campsite...the Montpelier KOA

Harvey's site
Nice campground, but a little too gravely to get around much in the wheelchair.  So, spent a lot of time inside doing crafts, watching movies, and best of all, taking well-deserved naps!

Pretty little bridge and stream by the campground.

We took a different route on the way home through a beautiful little mountain pass (highway 36) as we headed to Cache Valley...

Loved the pretty farms along the way.

The meadows and hills were dotted with yellow wild flowers.
Went by two of our favorite Temples before heading home...
(although we went passed 6 more before getting to our house)

The new Brigham City Temple

The very old Logan Temple
