Deer Creek Camping...sun and rain and smoke, oh my!

September weather was great so we headed back up to Deer Creek, finally getting a favorite "ADA" spot with great views of just about everything.   Kent went up with Harvey early in the afternoon and DeeAnn followed in her car after work.  It was just a tad rainy, but very pretty, when we started out.

Kent's finished blanket in its new home.

With the rain, came beautful rainbows!  We even had a double one to look at for awhile.

Harvey's site, complete with rainbow!

Rain finally let up enough for a beautiful shot of Deer Creek and dinner....ribs!

Jaycie learning how to make ribs.

These two weren't excited at all for dinner.

Pretty nice trip, dinner with great friends...rain started up again which resulted in a leak into the radio, which shorted out and caused smoke to billow up inside the camper at 2:30a.m....a tad scarey....so needless to say, we unhooked the electricity and headed home.  Will be calling repair people soon.
