Spring Break 2014

For spring break 2014 we went to southern California.  This was a pretty nice trip.  The Provo Airport is only about 5 minutes from the house, was very convenient, although Allegiant Airlines still does a horrible job of accommodating the disabled. It was a short flight to LA.  We spent the first two days at Disneyland and California Adventures.  We discovered a few new taste sensations: fried pickles and baked potato soup at Carnation Cafe, and the fresh guacamole made tableside at Tortilla Joe's in Downtown Disney.  Both meals worth going back for!

Wednesday was spent touring the stars homes in Beverly hills followed by a tour of the Warner Brothers movie studio.  Very interesting and much more a working studio than Universal is.

Thursday was spent aty Sea World in San Diego.  Course, it took all my willpower (and a few threats from DeeAnn) to keep me from exiting the bus at Legoland, a park I'd like to explore some day.

Friday was the trip home and the 5 minute drive from the airport.
