The first thing we did for our fun weekend was to go to the new Living Planet Aquarium. It was raining hard that day, and it was right before Christmas (everyone's shopping, right?) so we thought it wouldn't be crowded...it was. It was a nice aquarium though and had a pretty good variety of species.
We finally were able to be lucky enough getting tickets this year to the annual Mormon Tabernacle's Christmas Concert. This year features Santino Fontana and the famous muppet characters. We wondered how the muppets would fit in with the Mormon Tabernacle but it ended up being one of the best concerts we have attended.

We also went and looked at the lights at Temple Square. Always so well done and very pretty. They had the displays of the nativity scenes from different countries.
