Yuba Lake Campground...first camping of the season!

We found a new campground to try out for our first camping of the year.  It's down at Yuba Lake, south of Provo, near Levan.  The lake has two campgrounds and we stayed 1 night at each.  The first one was called Oasis, which had full hookups and pretty trees lined the lake....we had site 19.

Dinner of Stuffed Peppers and fruit.

They displayed stones and tools to build the dam in 1902.

The next night was at the Painted Rock campground, which is on the other side of the lake We took the "scenic" route over a dirt road only to find out that we could have taken a much easier route, but hey, we enjoyed the adventure. Few trees but it had hookups so we were ok.  This campground seems to be a mecca for ATVs and we saw (and heard) them throughout the day.  There were a lot of trails in the hills near the campground.

Our drive home was uneventful but did get a great picture of Mount Nebo.
