Our second day was spent at sea, traveling to our next destination. Here are some scenes from aboard the ship.
Casino. Only opened when out to sea, not on days we were docked or anchored.
Yes, they had a library. And a future ship's librarian.
Lounge and/or bar. Is there a difference?
Crooners Lounge.
Wheelhouse Lounge. This was our muster station, or where we received instructions for evacuation in the case of emergency and the place we were assigned to go should there be an on-board emergency. Very nice lounge, full of dark woods and a well stocked bar.
Upper deck with lounge chairs. Another viewing place for the Movie Under the Stars.
DeeAnn spotted the knitting ladies in the atrium. Apparently, every year they cruise somewhere together with their knitting and needlepoint crafts. It took all my energy to keep DeeAnn away from them.
Horizon Court Buffet. It was Aft deck 14. Fairly easy to navigate. Unfortunately the crew spoiled DeeAnn. Every time they saw her coming, someone loaded her plate for her (butting in line to do it), carrying it all around for her, and finding her suitable seating. Princess, unlike Royal Caribbean, did not have designated wheelchair seating in the buffet. they had a nice cheese selection. And lots of prunes.
More of the art scattered around. I believe this was in the buffet seating area.
Princess Theater. Seats about 800 but only about 6 places for wheelchairs. Since the average age on the ship was 75, there were plenty of wheelchairs, walkers and motorized scooters.
