Here's our yard as we embark on phase 1.
This year we will be putting up a shed (picture from the box), next year we will take our a hunk of grass to put in a garden space, bring in some dirt to build up the garden and to dry up our swamp. We will also be installing a waterfall. The third year includes building garden boxes along the fence followed by the fourth year laying pathways through the yard. Then, in the fifth year, we will work on the lawn and the reevaluate what we need to do next.
So, here we are. We have removed the large rose bush and ready to dig it out completely.

Meanwhile, our garden flourishes. Tomatoes have created their own jungle and the potatoes are looking delicious.
DeeAnn continues to weed the yard in preparation for me to lay down plastic and bark.
