Today is December 22nd, Day 4 of our cruise
 |
Lots of balcony rooms. the upper two floors don't have anyone overlooking them, unlike the lower decks. We were on the second from the top passenger deck. |
 |
Each cabin identifies the occupants. In case we get lost? |
Weather is predicted to be gentle breeze, 64° and clear skies. We
were having lunch having run into Andy and Lois, and we're joined by
Sammi, the cruise director. She is a ball of energy and very talkative!
 |
Theater. Enjoying the lectures about the history, nature and geography of the islands. |
I was not feeling well so just had a light
dinner.
 |
Fruit appetizer |
  |
Salad for dinner |
 |
Selection of cookies for the table to enjoy |
 |
Chocolate ice cream with strawberry topping for dessert. One can never be to ill for ice cream! |
We asked our room steward if he could do something about how
cold the room was so he called maintenance. They came did some
tinkering and the cool air was replaced by heat, and lots of it! So
much it was uncomfortable to sleep.
 |
It was very comfortable out on the balcony, perfect for reading. |
We expect to arrive in Ensanada, Mexico about 7 am, local time. We are
scheduled to depart at 2 pm, local time. Not much to see here, but
silly US law requires foreign ships to have at least one foreign port on
their itinerary, and Ensanada fits that requirement. There is a little
gift shop on the dock that sells various Mexican trinkets, clothing,
sombreros, blankets, dishes, etc. There is also a pharmacy that
actually has a pretty descent stock of medicine. Not too far into the
city are tourist shops and restaurants. We don't plan to venture too
far away from the ship. It's pretty safe during the day, but the last
thing I want to do is to get "Montezuma's revenge!"
