Just returned home from another one of Utah's prettiest campgrounds, Lodgepole, up Daniel's Canyon. Again is was dry camping but everything worked out fine. Beautiful site and cooler weather....our only minor complaint was hearing the noise from the highway near us.

We were in site 17. Here's Harvey and more pretty views.
Napped, sat outside and read, did crafts, played Nertz (Kent's ahead by 10 points in our running score), ate, and watched an old Kurt Russell movie.

Dinner...potato salad, fruit, chips....yum! |

Enjoying a fun game of Nertz! |

Breakfast! |
Fun critter sightings on this trip. The squirrels (one in particular) kept us entertained for quite some time. He would run back and forth most of the morning, running up a tree, retrieving nuts (or throwing them on the ground). We tossed him a cracker and he enjoyed that! Also saw a blue jay but the best sighting was the huge beautiful moose that wandered close to our campsite.

Found den where the little guy was taken his food. |

Pretty blue-jays in the trees. |

Our moose sighting was not disappointing! |
