This weekend was spent at Yuba Lake State Park, site 19. Joining the fun was the Fowles and Bunnel families (each having their own site.). With DeeAnn back to work, it was a little hectic getting everything packed but we were on our way by about 4:00pm on Friday. We had the same site, 19, as we enjoyed it so much the first time, but noticed they had cut down a few trees, not giving us as much shade as we hoped it would. Still a very roomy site with pretty good views.

That night, after everyone came and set up their sites, we had dinner at our place. Menu included sloppy joes, baked beans, potato, jello, and lettuce salads, watermelon, and chips. Nobody left hungry. After dark, we built a fire and roasted marshmellows for smores.

The next day (Saturday) was just walks down by the beach (water was very low) which by look of the crowds is very popular. We also played games, visited, relaxed, played with the Legos and watched movies (kid favorite). Saturday's meals included cereal, dutch oven mountain man breakfast, fruit, etc... Kent made everyone homemade peach milkshakes for a mid-afternoon snack (yum!). For dinner we bbq steaks and hotdogs and wonderful dutch oven funeral potatoes.
