Disneyworld 2007 - Magic Kingdom, Our Last Day

Our final day in Florida started off in the Magic Kingdom, Florida's equivalent to Disneyland. There are a number of differences, including some minor differences in layout. There are several rides present in California that are not in the Florida park and some in Florida not present in California. But each parks personality is unique and special, in it's own way.

We had reservations at Boma, one of the restaurants at the hotel. Very good. There was a variety of unique dishes, especially fruit. It was interesting to try some African dishes for breakfast.

We revisted some of our favorite rides, such as Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Laugh Floor Comedy Club, The Hall of Presidents, and Jungle Cruise.

We had lunch reservations at Tony's Town Square Restaurant, an Italian restaurant at the front of the park. The theme was right out of the movie Lady and the Tramp. the food was excellent. It's definately a restaurnat we will visit again.

Then we took off, went back to the hotel to gather up our luggage and headed out to the airport. We had a brief layover in Denver and finally got home even though we were not sure we would make our connection.

It was a great stay in Florida. Not having a car didn't bother us in the least. The shuttle service was very efficient (for the most part) and much better than stuffing a car into a convertible. The weather was near perfect the whole time we were there. There were a few minor problems (lot of people on Saturday -- gee imagine that, and the problems on the NASA tour) but they didn't ruin our trip. We are looking forward to returning, perhaps with some guests.

Another adventure down and time to plan our next adventure. It's time to start saving money for our Disney Cruise but in the mean time we are looking forward to our trip to Philadelphia.
