California Cruise - Day 3 - San Francisco, Part 2

Some of the homes around the city. Very interesting architecture and style.

Church somewhere in the city.
More typical buildings

The famous City Lights Bookstore. Famous for bibliophiles that is.

The home used for the film "Mrs. Doubtfire"

And there are plenty of nice mansions as well, fetching several millions of dollars when sold.

Several of the buses run on electric overhead lines.

Buildings of the Presidio, home to several Army bases.

Eucalyptus trees at the base.

At the base of the bridge is Fort mason, a historical fort from the Civil War era.

We then approached the Golden gate, preparing to enter and go over to the other side.

Having passed over to the other side.

City scenes as we approach the bridge and from the other side.

Then we went south, past the Cliff House and on to Golden Gate Park.

Golden Gate Park

Views of the city from Twin Peaks, the highest part of the city.

Hallway outside our cabin. One of the few times there were no housekeeping carts in the hallway. When they were it was very difficult to get to the other end of the ship. But we always had alternative options planned.

Another day comes to a fast end.
