Odds and Ends of June

Our June so far has been pretty low key...but here's a few pictures from what's been happening so far.
First of all, the cats are loving that DeeAnn is home for the summer.  As soon as she gets settled to watch a tv show, they are up with her cuddling.  So sweet, but not always so great when it's 95 degrees outside.

A couple of weekends ago, we took a drive out to Antelope Island.  We checked out a potential future camping site and enjoyed watching the buffalo who were everywhere.

Finally planted our peach tree!  Plus got most everything else in for the summer.

Our plans for camping down at Zion's this past weekend were cancelled mostly due to excessive heat (106) down there.  Harvey's air conditioning does well to a certain point but after about 95 degrees, it doesn't work as well.  So, this past Friday we took a beautiful scenic drive up to Mirror Lake instead.  We enjoyed the ride, checked out a handful of camping sites, and loved the 20 degree cooler weather up in the mountains!
